This course is designed to acquaint the participants with a basic understanding of research methodology. After completing the course, the participants will get the knowledge and skills to develop research tools both in quantitative and qualitative research, and collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data. Furthermore, they will also get knowledge to develop proposals for carrying out the research and familiarize them about ethical issues.

𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀:
This course is suitable for Graduate/Undergraduate students, mid and junior-level Researchers, freshers in any organization: government, public, Private, and NGOs. Private researchers in educational institutions like colleges, Universities, and Training Institutes, any individuals interested to be a research associate/assistant can also join the course.

Dr. Najmul Hasan

Research Fellow, Centre for Modern Information Management

School of Management, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China.

Dr. Hasan completed his PhD majoring in Management Science and Engineering with a specialization in Information Systems from the School of Management, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China. His research interests are in information systems (mHealth, E-learning), predictive analytics (energy, finance, health), and machine learning. He has published 36 journal articles in numerous top international journals (indexed in ISI, SCI, SSCI, SCIE, ABDC, ERA, ABS, Scopus, etc.) successively as the first/corresponding author, including 20 papers indexed in SCI/SSCI and 4 conference papers. He received the "Excellent Academic Award" at HUST in three consecutive academic years (2018–2019, 2019–2020, and 2020–2021). He was also awarded "HUST 2022 Honorary International Graduates" (for outstanding research performance). Dr. Hasan is a regular reviewer for numerous renowned journals with an impact factor of 1.0 to 10.97 and a regular program committee member of the prestigious "Australian Conference of Information Systems". During his career, he has been involved in more than 100 academic, social, and market research projects. His research works are gaining interest in the scholarly world and have received more than 950 citations with an H-index of 13 (google scholars).
