Md. Abdul Awal is currently working at BIGD (BRAC Institute of Governance and Development) as Senior Data Associate. His key responsibilities include:

• Leading and supervising the software-based survey instruments development and the data team.
• Developing, updating, disseminating, and ensuring the implementation of standard protocols (e.g. survey programming, data quality control, data collection best practices) and documentation practices.
• Mentoring Data Associates and other pertinent personnel. >Designing, developing, and implementing modules to enhance BIGD’s capacity in data collection activities.

Before joining BIGD, Abdul Awal was working at Innovation for Poverty Action(IPA) as a Senior Research Analyst. He has extensive experience and expertise at SurveyCTO and STATA. He has a Master in Development Studies and another Master of Business Studies.
